Smart Shop Place has been a fixture of downtown Sydney for years. A cornerstone of Charlotte Street, Smart Shop Place saw generations of Cape Breton families come through the doors for everything from boots, to hats, to Sunday school clothes.

Today, Smart Shop Place, has changed it's face again. Owner's Bruce and Lizz Meloney, tell everyone their passion has been all about footwear.Bruce being a third generation in the Shoe Business, feels it's time to get back to doing what they know best and that is SHOES... and Lizz says of course we will still carry the "Accessories"....jewellery, handbags, gloves, scarves So we made the changes and the HUGE store looks wonderful!

We are open everyday from 9 to 5..Thursday we stay open till 7pm...
and we close on Sundays. Come visit us soon. We have the best staff in Canada!
